Invitation Program for Japanese American Students (high school)

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan is sponsoring the “Invitation Program for Japanese American Students” (a 12-day trip to Japan).  The purpose of this program is to “provide Japanese American students with an opportunity to learn various aspects of Japan (politics, economy, society, history, culture, language, etc.).  Promote mutual understanding and exchanges between Japanese and Japanese American younger generations”.

Fujitsu Scholarship Program

Fujitsu has started accepting applications for the Fujitsu Scholarship Program.

The Scholarship covers the entire cost associated with the 15-week multi-campus Global Leaders for Innovation and Knowledge (“GLIK”) program of the Fujitsu-JAIMS Foundation.

GLIK Program Period:  August 27, 2017 – December 8, 2017

Application Deadline: March 14, 2017, 5 p.m. (HI time)

The Scholarship covers:

– tuition

– stipend for living expenses

– airfare(Honolulu – Tokyo – Honolulu – Singapore – Chiang Mai – Tokyo – Honolulu)

A Hawaii resident with a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three (3) years of full-time work experience is eligible for the Scholarship.
