Mrs. Arikawa, now a resident of Hawaii, had long been involved in an effort to build a bridge between Japan and the U.S. through education.

She founded and taught at schools for Japanese students in the New York area and organized youth exchange programs between the U.S. and Japan.

Mrs. Arikawa continues her efforts to strengthen the U.S.-Japan relations and to pass on Japanese culture

to the next generation as President of the Shufu Society of Hawaii.

Following the talk and lunch, we will have fun activities that give you a great opportunity to mingle with old & new tomodachi (friends).

We look forward to seeing you there!
